Coffee inspired by J.S. Bach - mathematician, composer, and coffee lover
Did JS Bach really drink up to 30 cups of coffee a day? We'd like to think so! We do know that he loved coffee enough to devote an entire cantata to it. Affectionately known as the Coffee Cantata (BWV 211), Bach was a master of balancing structure and creativity, demanding that musicians who perform his music, particularly those works written for solo instruments, to combine technical and academic rigour with a deeply personal and introspective sense of interpretation. If there are technical or interpretive shortcomings in a performer, the music of JS Bach will likely find a way to uncover them.

How does this inspire our roasts?
We combine a foundation of technical data with a real time response approach to each roast, accounting for variables and how each varietal responds.
Art lies at the heart of what we do, and as coffee fuels us, our profits go towards funding artists, and the creation of art in Australia.
